The “Superheroes Academy” summer camp was organized during June-July 2018, a project funded by World Vision Albania & Kosovo and implemented by the Center “Me komunitetin per ndryshim”, in cooperation and co-financing with the Municipality of Vlora. Four residential and two day camps were conducted, where 440 children of the age group 12-15 years from the districts of Tirana, Elbasan, Durrës, Librazhd and Vlora were beneficiaries.

The camp program included various sessions that meet educational objectives such as personal growth of children, acceptance and appreciation of diversity and information about their rights and responsibilities. Also included in the program were games that promote engagement, creativity and teamwork, and teach children how to be team members, leaders, and better supporters. Inseparable parts of the program were also the festive and entertainment activities as one of the main objectives of camps for children.
